Hi, I'm Kimberly Kniveton MBA, ACC, owner and founder of Ascent Coaching & Consulting.  I bring over 17 years of organizational development, leadership training and coaching experience to my clients.  My passion is supporting people and organizations in working together to achieve results and believe that building and maintaining trusting relationships provides the ultimate competitive advantage.  My clients comment that my fun, positive and engaging personality all contribute to helping individuals and organizations achieve success.

I currently live in the United States, but have also lived and worked in the United Kingdom and Europe. I am part of the adjunct staff at the University of Utah Professional Development Center and sits in various board positions including the Salt Lake City Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and the 2009 President of the Utah chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).

I have a BA in psychology and communications, received my MBA in 2000 and conducted my coach specific training from CoachU.  I am a certified coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF), a certified Emotional Intelligence Advanced Practitioner with the 6 Seconds Emotional Intelligence Network, qualified to perform the Life Styles Inventory both with individuals and within organizations, qualified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and certified in the SEI™ Emotional Intelligence Assessment.  I also licensed to run both team and Professional Producing Results programs with Best Year Yet®.
